Reid Abedeen

Reid Abedeen is the managing partner at Safeguard Investment Advisory Group, LLC. As an investment advisor, Reid has helped retirees for over 18 years with issues such as insurance, long-term care planning, financial services, asset protection and many other areas.

Upon receiving his degree in business administration, he began the first leg of his career in the banking industry. Always looking for ways to help the client, Reid realized that institutions were limited in the personal assistance that they could offer families. Believing that the client and their family should come first, he decided to go on his own in order to give the proper help and guidance that many families need in determining their retirement goals.

As an investment advisor, Reid’s primary focus is to get a complete picture and understanding of what the client is looking to achieve personally and financially as well as estate planning for their heirs. Additionally, a plan of action does not mean forcing ideas on a client, but assuring the plan they have in place is sound and on track to meet those goals and objectives.

Reid contributes a great deal of his success to his wife, Smyrna, for her support and understanding during his years of studying and hard work. Reid has three beautiful children, Yusef, Leena and Adam, which are three more reasons he works as hard as he does. When Reid is not working, you can find him on the basketball court with Yusef, watching Leena practice her gymnastics or playing Wii golf with Adam.

Reid holds California Life-Only and Accident and Health licenses (#0C78700), and holds a Series 65 license, and is registered through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
